Mahal is a small independent brand creating handmade and upcycled clothing pieces. Each garment is carefully made using sourced second hand and reclaimed materials, making every piece unique.

Handmade Nature

  • Due to the handmade and one-of-a-kind nature of our garments, slight variations, irregularities, or imperfections may occur.

  • Colours and textures may differ slightly from what is shown on screen due to fabric availability and photography.

Shipping

  • We aim to ship within 3 business days of receiving payment.

  • UK orders are sent via Royal Mail and may take up to 5 working days.

  • International shipping times vary depending on destination and customs.

  • Mahal is not responsible for customs charges, delays, or lost parcels once dispatched.

Intellectual Property

  • All designs, photographs, and written content are the property of Mahal. They may not be copied, resold, or used without permission.

Returns Policy

Because each item is handmade and often one-of-a-kind, please read carefully before purchasing:

Returns

  • We accept returns for faulty or damaged items only.

  • Due to the handmade and upcycled nature of our pieces, all sales are final unless there are major faults. Please refer to measurements to ensure the fit is correct. 

  • If an item arrives faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs.

Exchanges

  • As most pieces are one-off, exchanges are not usually possible. However, if a replacement item is available, we will do our best to accommodate.

Process

  • To request a return, please message us via the contact tab with your order details and email photographs of any faults to hello@mahal-studio.com.

  • If approved, items must be returned within 14 days of delivery, unworn and in original condition.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed faulty.

Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued once the item has been returned and inspected.

  • Refunds are made to the original payment method.
